I was listening to a Jason Lytle interview today on the BBC and he got to choose his exit song - 10cc "I'm Not in Love" - saying that this will be one of the most important songs to him, probably until the time he dies. Naturally I wanted to pay pretty close attention to it. I've heard this song on far away radios, or maybe on a TV in another room or something, but I've never actually LISTENED to the track. The recording methods are pretty experimental and the vocal layering technique creates a pretty rad choral effect. I assumed the band recorded their own vocal samples and triggered them with a MIDI keyboard...not the case.
