Real Estate: "Green Aisles" and "It's Real"

Not that Real Estate's first record, Real Estate, was bad- It certainly wasn't. I do however find it boring. The entire record leans on lazy summer guitar lines styled on heavy nostalgia reverb and the tone of each song seems to match that of every other track on the record. I've heard two cuts from the new LP, Days, (Domino, 10/18) and I'm excited. The new songs are varied and have more substance and emotion than I could find on the entire first record.
